AlertVU rapidly sends messages to the delivery points the user has chosen—cell phone (voice or text), landline, and Vanderbilt email account—in the event of an emergency that poses an imminent threat or danger to the Vanderbilt community.
Users will always receive alerts via their Vanderbilt email address.
Please review your AlertVU information below and update or add any additional contact information, such as a mobile phone (call and/or text) or personal email address.
Expand the Biographical Details section
Review your current AlertVU preferences.
Note: If you began working prior to 1/1/2018 and previously entered this information via C2HR, please add your preferences here to ensure you continue to receive messages via mobile phone and/or personal email.
Click Edit if you need to make changes.
Enter your mobile phone and/or other contacts where you would like to receive AlertVU messages and indicate your preference for voice or text messages for any mobile phones.
Once you have entered your information, click Submit to save your changes.
Changes will now be processed and when this is complete, your record will display your updated information.
